Green Line Tours is a local team of guides, drivers, and travel lovers sharing the best of São Vicente and Santo Antão with visitors from around the world. We're growing, and we're looking for people who care about these islands as much as we do.

We're not looking for people who just want a job. We're looking for people who want to share something they're proud of: their island, their culture, their stories.

What it's like to work with us

Our team spends their days on the trails of Santo Antão, the streets of Mindelo, and the decks of cruise ships welcoming new arrivals. Every day looks a little different, but the goal is always the same: give our guests an experience they'll remember long after they've gone home.

We're a small, close-knit operation. That means your work matters, your ideas get heard, and you'll know your teammates by name, not by job title.

Guide in Training
An entry-level role for someone new to tour guiding who wants to learn the ropes. You'll shadow experienced guides, learn our routes and local history, and build the skills to run tours independently. A great fit for someone passionate about their island's culture and eager to grow into a confident, capable guide. Weekend and holiday availability needed. Paid training position with a competitive wage.

Professional Guide
Lead tours independently and deliver a memorable experience for our guests, from the first hello to the final goodbye. This role suits someone with prior guiding experience who's confident speaking to groups and managing logistics on the go, and who's ready to mentor Guides in Training along the way. CPR/First Aid certification a plus. Competitive wage plus tips.

Marketing Assistant
Help tell the story of Green Line Tours to the world. You'll support content creation for our social media channels, assist with photo and video from our tours, help keep our listings accurate across booking platforms, and contribute ideas for reaching new travelers. A great fit for someone creative, organized, and excited about Cabo Verde tourism. Experience with social media or content creation preferred.

All roles require comfort speaking with visitors from around the world (Portuguese, English, French or Spanish a plus).
